To the traditional lost-wax process of bronze casting, we have added the new technique of coating with ceramic shell. This consists of coating the wax model with a very fine layer of ceramic material applied in the liquid state. Being refractory, this allows to the wax inside to melt out, once in the furnace, and is able to withstand the high temperatures of the molten metal.
